SMS / Messaging Terms
Last updated: July 10, 2026These SMS / Messaging Terms describe the text-message (SMS) programs operated by Expanential, Inc. (doing business as "Expa" and "Expa Health") ("Expa", "we", "us" or "our") through expahealth.com and the Expa Platform. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- About our messaging programs
Expa operates a healthcare recruiting platform that connects healthcare employers with healthcare clinicians. We send SMS text messages under two programs:
- Account verification. One-time passcodes to verify your identity when you sign in to an Expa account.
- Recruiting outreach. Messages to healthcare professionals about job opportunities, application status, interview scheduling, and related recruiting conversations with Expa or an Expa customer.
- How you opt in (consent)
We only send text messages to individuals who have provided their mobile number and agreed to be contacted:
- Recruiting outreach. When you apply to a job or request to be contacted on the Expa Platform, you enter your mobile number and check a consent box that reads: "I consent to be contacted about this application via email, phone, and text. Consent is not required for employment. Message/data rates may apply." Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any application, employment, or purchase.
- Account verification. When you enter your mobile number on our secure sign-in / verification page to request a one-time passcode, you consent to receive that passcode by SMS.

The consent checkbox shown to candidates on the Expa Platform application form. - Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Account-verification messages are sent only when you request a code. Recruiting messages are sent as relevant opportunities and conversations arise.
- Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- How to opt out — STOP
You can cancel recruiting messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send further recruiting messages unless you opt back in (for example, by replying START or by submitting a new application). You may still receive account-verification (one-time passcode) messages that you specifically request when signing in.
- How to get help — HELP
For help, reply HELP to any message from us, or contact us at [email protected].
- Carrier disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
- Privacy — we do not sell or share your consent data
We respect your privacy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected for these messaging programs are used only to operate the programs described above. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information, phone numbers, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share this information with service providers who help us deliver the messages (for example, our SMS platform provider), solely to operate the programs and subject to confidentiality obligations. For full details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
- Changes to these Terms
We may update these SMS / Messaging Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
