Earn non-dues revenue while helping your members find better jobs
Expa gives you two things: real applicants for the employers posting on your career center, and a job agent your members can use instead of scrolling job boards. You share in the revenue it generates.
In plain terms
What does Expa do for associations?
Expa is a clinical recruiting platform built on the largest clinician database in healthcare, with agents that reach clinicians on their phones and follow up the moment they reply. For associations, it solves two problems at once. Employers pay to post on your career center and too many of those postings draw few or no applicants. Meanwhile your members want better jobs but do not want to spend their evenings on job boards.
For the employers on your career center, Expa goes and finds qualified candidates when a posting is not getting applicants, reaches out to them directly and brings the interested ones back to the job. For your members, Expa offers a job agent: they describe what they want once, the agent watches the market around the clock, and it only gets in touch when a role actually fits. The association offers both under its own name and earns a share of the revenue.
What Expa brings to your association
Applicants for the postings nobody is answering
When an employer's posting on your career center sits without applicants, Expa searches its clinician database, contacts the right people directly and sends interested candidates back to that posting. Employers get the applicants they paid for, which is what brings them back to post again.
A job agent for members instead of another job board
Members spend about a minute describing the setting, location, schedule and pay they want. The agent watches openings day and night, reaches out only when something fits, and never contacts their current employer. Their profile is not public.
Non-dues revenue on a generous revenue share
Expa runs the technology and the outreach. The association promotes it to members and employers and earns a share of the revenue it generates. We walk through the terms on a demo call.
Case study
APTA offers Expa as a member benefit
The American Physical Therapy Association gives its physical therapist and physical therapist assistant members Expa's job agent. They describe the role they want once, and the agent watches the market and reaches out only when a role fits. And for the member organizations and employers hiring through an association, Expa does the other half of the job: it goes out and finds applicants for the clinical roles that have sat open for months, the ones where job boards stopped working a long time ago.
How it works
We set it up under your name
A co-branded page like APTA's, connected to your career center through our API or as a white-label experience.
You spread the word
Through the newsletters, emails and events you already run.
Expa does the sourcing
Your employers get applicants, your members get a job agent and the association earns its share.
Questions
How do associations earn revenue with Expa?
Through a revenue share on what Expa generates through the association's career center and members. Expa runs the technology, the clinician database and the outreach, so the association does not take on any recruiting work. The specific terms depend on the association and are covered in a demo call.
Does the job agent cost members anything?
In the APTA program the job agent is free for members, with no paywall or premium tier, and that is the model we recommend. It is the version members actually use, and a benefit members use is the one that helps with renewals.
Will Expa replace our career center?
No. Expa works alongside it. Employers keep posting on your career center as they do today, and Expa brings applicants to the postings that need them. If you want to go further, the whole experience can run under your brand through our API or as a white-label product.
What happens to member data?
A member's job agent profile is not public. Their details are only shared with an employer after they approve an introduction, the agent never contacts their current employer, and Expa does not sell member data.
Which associations is this for?
Professional associations for clinicians, national or state, in any discipline Expa covers. That includes physical, occupational and speech therapy, nursing, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, behavioral health, imaging and laboratory professionals, and others.
Can it run under our brand?
Yes. It can be co-branded, like the APTA page, or fully white-labeled through our API so members never leave your site.
